Transactional Real Estate Associate | Manchester | Leading International Law Firm | 3+ years PQE | Predominantly remote We are working with a leading international law firm looking to appoint multiple Transactional Real Estate lawyers to join its highly regarded Manchester practice. This is a particularly interesting opportunity for a Transactional Real Estate Solicitor looking for greater flexibility and a more focused client relationship, whilst retaining the quality of work, resources and career development opportunities offered by a leading international law firm. The role is structured around a dedicated-client model, with successful candidates acting as a key legal resource for one major client rather than working across a broad portfolio of different clients and matters. The Opportunity: You will have the opportunity to work closely with a major institutional client, developing a deep understanding of their business, property portfolio and commercial objectives. Your responsibilities will include: · Drafting and negotiating leases and ancillary property documentation · Advising on tenant due diligence enquiries · Handling lease management and asset management matters · Assisting with acquisition and disposal due diligence · Supporting the management of existing and newly acquired assets · Managing transaction completions and maintaining accurate matter updates · Building strong relationships with the client and external advisers · Supervising and supporting junior lawyers and paralegals · Working with the wider client account team to improve processes and ways of working You will have significant autonomy over your own caseload and will become a trusted legal adviser to the client, whilst benefiting from the support and expertise of the wider Real Estate team. The team is also at the forefront of innovative ways of working, making use of legal technology and developments in generative AI to improve efficiency and deliver greater value to clients. About You: The ideal candidate will be a Transactional Real Estate Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE and strong experience advising on transactional real estate matters in England & Wales. You will ideally have experience across areas such as: · Institutional landlord work · Lease drafting and negotiation · Asset and property management · Acquisitions and disposals · Tenant due diligence · High-volume transactional real estate work · Advising major property clients Experience of working within an institutional landlord environment would be particularly advantageous, although candidates with strong transferable transactional real estate experience will also be considered. You will be commercially minded, client-focused and comfortable managing a busy caseload, with strong communication and relationship-building skills. Why Apply? · Join a highly ranked Manchester Transactional Real Estate team · Act as a dedicated legal resource to a major institutional client · Develop a genuine understanding of one client's business and property portfolio · Gain significant client exposure and responsibility · Work on a broad range of transactional and asset management matters · Benefit from the resources, expertise and international reach of a leading global law firm · Work alongside highly regarded Real Estate lawyers and Partners · Predominantly remote working, with attendance at the Manchester office approximately twice per month · Additional flexibility around office attendance depending on experience · Excellent training, support and long-term career development opportunities · The opportunity to experience an in-house-style working relationship while remaining within private practice This is an excellent opportunity for a Transactional Real Estate Solicitor looking for a genuinely different private practice model, offering the combination of high-quality work and client exposure with predominantly remote working and the opportunity to develop a long-term relationship with a major client.
