Private Client (Probate) Associate / Senior Associate - Birmingham
A full time, permanent role based in any of the firms regional offices.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate to join a growing, thriving Private Client team at a national, multi award winning law firm in Birmingham.

ROLE
The distribution of assets and establishing or re-structuring trusts under a will
Applications for grants of representation
Advice regarding post death variations
Estate and succession planning
Inheritance tax calculations
Inheritance tax and capital gains tax
Complex Will drafting
Establishment of trusts
Trustee powers and duties.
ABOUT YOU
Essential
Previous experience in a similar Private Client role
Minimum 2 years PQE+ with experience gained at a large regional or City firm advising high net worth individuals.
Experience of running your own files, including financial management. Ideally, you will have completed/be working towards completion of the STEP Diploma.
Ability to build strong relationship with clients, potential clients and multipliers
Solid previous experience of preparing sets of accounts for probates and trusts
