Employment Lawyer | Senior Associate | Leading National Firm | Birmingham | Hybrid Working Available BCL Legal is delighted to be working with a nationally recognised law firm on the recruitment of a Senior Associate to join its top-tier Employment team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and well-established team advising a diverse client base across public and private sectors. The Role Working as part of a national Employment, Pensions and Immigration practice, you will advise on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, with a particular focus on: Employers in the health and care sector, including both private and NHS clients Higher education institutions Commercial organisations in sectors such as automotive, manufacturing, and retail You'll be involved in delivering strategic advice, managing tribunal litigation, providing corporate support, and contributing to client training and business development initiatives. The Candidate You will: Be a qualified solicitor with 4+ years' PQE in employment law Be confident managing your own workload and supervising junior team members Have strong technical skills and an ability to work independently on complex matters Demonstrate excellent relationship-building, communication, and client-facing skills Ideally have some experience advising health or public sector clients, although this is not essential Bring a genuine interest in developing client relationships and supporting wider business development What's on Offer?
