Healthcare Employment Lawyer | Senior Associate | Top 60 UK Law Firm | Birmingham (Hybrid Working) BCL Legal is proud to be working with a leading Top 60 UK law firm as they look to appoint an experienced Healthcare Employment Lawyer to join their nationally recognised Healthcare Team. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to shape and grow the employment law offering within a well-established healthcare practice. The role is full-time and permanent, based in Birmingham with hybrid working options available. The Team The firm's national Healthcare Team advises a broad range of clients across the independent health and social care sectors. These include adult and children's care providers, dental groups, veterinary practices, and other regulated healthcare businesses. With existing strengths in corporate, regulatory and real estate, the team is now expanding its employment law capability to meet growing client demand. As a Healthcare Employment Lawyer, you will: · Deliver pragmatic, commercially focused employment law advice to healthcare sector clients - particularly corporate respondents. · Handle a wide variety of matters including disciplinary and grievance issues, TUPE, workforce restructures, employment tribunal claims, and senior exits. · Work closely with the firm's corporate, real estate, and regulatory teams to deliver seamless support to healthcare clients. · Play a leading role in developing and growing the healthcare employment practice - a fantastic opportunity for someone entrepreneurial and client-focused. · Support the team's business development efforts through client engagement, sector events, and thought leadership. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: · 6+ years' PQE in employment law, ideally with experience acting for clients in the healthcare or regulated sectors. · Strong respondent-side experience, with a proactive and confident approach to client service. · A commercial mindset and the ability to identify and convert new opportunities. · A track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships. · Excellent collaboration and communication skills. · An interest in playing a visible and strategic role in a growing team.
