The office has experienced significant growth over the past few years and is now looking for a senior leader to help shape and grow their Private Client offering in the West Midlands. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior role within one of the UK's largest Private Client teams, which comprises nearly 120 specialists. The Role: As Private Client Partner, you will take responsibility for leading and developing the Birmingham-based Private Client practice. Key responsibilities include: - Providing strategic direction and leadership to the growing Private Client team in the West Midlands. - Delivering expert legal advice on a wide range of private client matters, including wills, trusts, estate planning, succession planning, probate, LPAs, and more. - Building and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), business families, and landed estates, many of whom have complex and high-value UK and international portfolios. - Collaborating across departments to deliver holistic, integrated legal support to clients. - Mentoring junior team members and fostering a culture of professional development and excellence. - Driving business development and enhancing the firm's market profile in the region. Candidate Profile: We're looking for a qualified solicitor with substantial experience in Private Client law, who has: - A proven track record in advising HNW/UHNW clients, particularly those with complex assets or international elements. - Leadership skills and the ability to develop practice areas and manage teams. - A commercial mindset, with confidence in business development and client relationship building. - A client-focused approach and the ambition to grow and shape the practice. - STEP qualification or membership in relevant professional bodies is highly desirable.
