Professional Development Lawyer - Commercial Litigation | Junior to Mid-Level | Leading National Firm | Birmingham (Hybrid Working) BCL Legal is pleased to be assisting a leading UK law firm in its search for a Professional Development Lawyer to join its Commercial Litigation team in Birmingham. This is a full-time, permanent role ideal for a junior to mid-level solicitor with commercial litigation experience who is looking to transition into a knowledge-focused position. The Role As part of the firm's Learning & Knowledge function, you will support the litigation practice group by: Monitoring legal, regulatory and market developments relevant to commercial litigation Drafting, maintaining and updating litigation precedents, templates, and guidance notes Delivering training sessions and legal updates internally and to clients Managing and sharing knowledge via digital litigation platforms and online court portals Supporting innovation and knowledge management initiatives across the firm Liaising with external knowledge providers and internal stakeholders Contributing to client-facing tools, thought leadership and project delivery What They're Looking For A qualified solicitor with junior to mid-level PQE in commercial litigation Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and familiarity with ADR processes Experience with civil litigation digital systems and legal tech platforms Excellent legal drafting, research and project management skills Confident communicator with strong presentation and training delivery abilities Detail-oriented, highly organised and able to manage multiple projects A collaborative approach and a genuine interest in innovation and continuous learning Why Apply?
