A leading global law firm is seeking a talented Real Estate Litigation Associate (0-3 PQE) to join its market-leading, Band 1 ranked Real Estate Litigation team in Birmingham. The Team
The firm's Real Estate Litigation team is one of the most highly regarded in the UK, ranked Band 1 in both Chambers UK and Legal 500. The team advises developers, investors, landlords, tenants, and asset managers on a wide range of contentious property matters - from strategic portfolio management disputes to landmark cases involving iconic developments.
Supported by the firm's innovative resources and award-winning project management systems, the team is known for combining technical excellence with commercial pragmatism, helping clients protect and enhance their real estate interests efficiently and effectively.
The Role
Working closely with senior lawyers and partners, you will handle a diverse caseload covering the full spectrum of real estate disputes. You'll have direct client contact, early responsibility, and the opportunity to develop as a trusted adviser within a highly collaborative and forward-thinking team.
You will:
Manage your own caseload of property litigation matters under supervision from senior team members.
Work on a variety of disputes, including lease renewals, dilapidations, service charge disputes, rights of light, and development-related claims.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, attending client meetings and contributing to strategic discussions.
Support business development initiatives, marketing activities, and thought leadership projects.
Collaborate across practice areas, particularly with Real Estate, Construction, and Planning, to deliver a seamless client service.

About You
You will be a qualified solicitor (or soon to qualify) with:
0-3 years' PQE in property or real estate litigation (applications from those with strong real estate or litigation experience will also be considered).
Excellent academic credentials and strong technical ability.
A practical, commercial approach to resolving disputes.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for client engagement and business development.
You'll be ambitious, proactive, and able to demonstrate a genuine interest in real estate and how it shapes the built environment.
