Housing Management & Property Litigation Solicitor / FCILEx / Barrister | 5+ PQE | Birmingham BCL Legal is working with a highly regarded national law firm seeking an experienced Housing Management & Property Litigation Solicitor, FCILEx or Barrister with 5+ years' PQE to join its expanding Birmingham team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading practice advising registered providers, local authorities and private landlords on a broad range of housing management and property litigation matters. The Role: Manage your own caseload of housing management and property litigation matters. Handle a mix of contentious and non-contentious work, including possession proceedings, injunctions, housing disrepair claims and policy advice. Support partners on larger, more complex litigation matters. Work directly with clients, managing relationships, expectations and deadlines. Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals. Prepare and deliver training sessions for clients. Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives. Work collaboratively within a busy and growing specialist team. Candidate Requirements: Qualified Solicitor, FCILEx or Barrister with 5+ years' PQE. Strong experience in housing management and property litigation. CILEx candidates must hold Civil Litigation Practice Rights. Confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision. Experience supervising junior team members. Commercially aware with a proactive and client-focused approach. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines. Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
