Senior / Managing Associate - Commercial Dispute Resolution / Pensions Litigation | 3+ PQE | Birmingham
A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Senior or Managing Associate to join their market-leading Commercial Dispute Resolution team in Birmingham. This permanent, full-time role is offered on a hybrid-working basis and provides exposure to high-profile clients and complex commercial disputes.
The Role:
Advise clients on a wide range of commercial dispute resolution matters, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
Provide specialist pensions litigation support, developing expertise in this area.
Collaborate closely with Partners and colleagues across the firm nationwide.
Take an active role in business development, including preparing pitches, tenders, and client presentations.
Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members.
Manage a portfolio of disputes, ensuring varied and challenging work.
Candidate Requirements:
Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE in commercial dispute resolution.
Specialist knowledge or experience in pensions litigation, including professional negligence, rectification, and complex member complaints (preferred).
Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines.
Commercially aware with enthusiasm for business development and staying up to date with sector developments.
Client-focused approach, able to nurture long-standing relationships internally and externally.
Demonstrable experience supervising or managing junior team members is desirable.
Ambitious and motivated to develop the firm's offering locally and nationally.
