Property Litigation Managing Associate | 6+ PQE | Birmingham
BCL are working with a highly regarded national law firm seeking an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor with 6+ years' PQE to join their established team as a Managing Associate in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a nationally recognised real estate disputes practice handling complex and high-value matters within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
The Role:
Manage a varied caseload of property litigation matters with minimal supervision.
Advise a broad client base including public sector organisations, local authorities, government bodies and commercial clients.
Handle a range of real estate disputes including landlord and tenant, development disputes, easements, rights of way, trespass, nuisance and possession matters.
Work closely with Partners on key client relationships and strategic client matters.
Support and supervise junior lawyers, providing guidance and mentoring where required.
Contribute to business development initiatives and help grow the team's regional and national presence.
Collaborate with colleagues across multiple offices on large-scale and cross-jurisdictional matters.
Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor with 6+ years' PQE in property litigation or real estate disputes.
Strong technical experience managing a broad range of contentious property matters.
Ability to manage files independently while maintaining excellent client service standards.
Experience supervising junior team members or managing more junior lawyers.
Commercially aware with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach.
Organised, proactive and able to manage competing deadlines effectively.
Desirable Skills:
Experience advising public sector clients, local authorities or government departments.
Existing business development experience or interest in client relationship management.
Experience working across multi-office or national teams.
