Employment Lawyer | 2+ PQE | Birmingham A leading international law firm is seeking an Employment Lawyer (2+ PQE) to join its highly regarded and growing Employment team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's largest Employment practices, advising major UK and international clients on a broad range of high-quality employment matters, including complex disputes, strategic workforce projects and advisory work. The Role: Advise major UK and international businesses on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Handle complex Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation. Advise on strategic workforce projects, restructurings, reorganisations and redundancies. Work on industrial relations, senior exits and executive reward matters. Advise on team moves, restrictive covenants and global mobility. Provide employment support on corporate transactions, acquisitions and outsourcing. Advise on workplace investigations, equality issues and pay reporting. Support clients on the evolving impact of technology and AI in the workplace. Work closely with colleagues across the wider national and international Employment practice. Build strong client relationships and provide commercially focused, pragmatic advice. Play an active role in business development and the continued growth of the team. Candidate Requirements: Qualified Solicitor with at least 2+ years' PQE in employment law. Experience gained within a reputable commercial law firm or recognised employment practice. Strong experience across contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Experience advising on complex employment issues and handling Employment Tribunal claims. Excellent technical, drafting and analytical skills. Commercially minded with the ability to provide practical, solutions-focused advice. Strong communication and client relationship management skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a national team. Ambitious, proactive and keen to develop long-term client relationships.
