Property Litigation Solicitor | City of London An established and highly regarded UK law firm is seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor to join its expanding team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor looking to develop their career within a leading practice acting for major social housing providers, local authorities and institutional landlords. This long-standing UK law firm has built a strong reputation over more than 150 years and is consistently recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers UK for its specialist expertise. The firm advises clients across a number of core sectors including housing, construction, commercial litigation, corporate, employment, banking and property. Its housing practice is particularly well known, acting for a significant proportion of the UK's Registered Providers and social housing organisations, alongside private landlords, care providers, developers and investment funds. With offices across London and key regional centres, the firm has experienced significant growth in recent years and now operates with a team of over 350 lawyers and business services professionals, with an expanding national and international client base. The Property Litigation team is recognised as one of the leading practices in this field, acting for over 100 Registered Providers, local authorities and private landlords across England and Wales. Lawyers in the team advise on the full spectrum of housing management and property litigation matters, supporting clients with both contentious work and strategic advisory matters relating to housing policy and compliance. This role offers the opportunity to run a varied property litigation caseload while working closely with experienced partners on complex and high-profile matters. You will handle a broad range of work including: - Possession proceedings - Injunction applications - Housing disrepair claims - Anti-social behaviour matters - Housing management advice and policy support Key Responsibilities: - Managing a caseload of housing management and property litigation matters - Supporting partners on complex and high-value disputes - Advising clients directly and managing expectations throughout the lifecycle of matters - Delivering training and guidance to housing sector clients - Contributing to business development and client relationship activities - Managing multiple deadlines across a busy and varied caseload Candidate Requirements: - 3+ years' PQE - Experience managing their own caseload of litigation matters - Strong technical legal ability and case management skills - Experience working with social housing providers, local authorities or landlords (desirable) - Excellent communication and client relationship skills - Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines - Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected housing law practice with a strong client base and a clear growth trajectory.
