Property Litigation Solicitor A highly regarded London law firm is seeking an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer who wants high-quality work, genuine client exposure and a clear pathway to progression within a collaborative, mid-sized firm. The firm advises a diverse client base across the UK and internationally, delivering a bespoke, partner-driven service with a strong emphasis on long-term client relationships. The Property Litigation team sits within a broader, well-resourced Property group, offering strong peer support and the opportunity to collaborate across disciplines. The structure allows for close partner access and meaningful involvement in the direction of cases and client relationships. You will join a close-knit Property Litigation team and play a key role in advising real estate developers, investors, landlords and tenants across a broad spectrum of commercial and residential disputes. The role offers early responsibility, direct client contact and active involvement in business development, all with hands-on partner support. This position is well suited to a solicitor who enjoys running matters, contributing strategically to cases and building trusted client relationships. Your work will include: - Commercial and residential landlord & tenant disputes - Development and real estate contract disputes - Property insolvency matters - Rights of way, adverse possession and restrictive covenants - Drafting and serving contractual and statutory notices - Preparing pleadings, witness statements and supporting documentation - Conducting legal research to support litigation strategy and client advice - Reviewing and analysing Land Registry title documentation - Liaising with courts, opposing solicitors and Counsel, including instructing Counsel and attending hearings - Maintaining accurate time recording and leading on billing for your matters - Taking part in business development and client relationship activity - Supporting and mentoring junior team members as appropriate The Ideal Candidate: - 3-5 years' PQE in property litigation within private practice - A strong academic background (2:1 or equivalent) - Excellent drafting and technical skills - Confidence dealing directly with clients - Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities - A proactive, commercially aware mindset - A collaborative and personable approach - Solid IT skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems This role offers more than just high-quality property litigation work.
