This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level property litigation lawyer to develop their expertise within a well-established team known for handling complex and high-value real estate disputes.
Joining a nationally recognised Property Litigation practice, you will work closely with experienced partners on a wide range of landlord and tenant disputes, advising a diverse client base including institutional landlords, developers, investors and public sector organisations.
The role offers strong career development within a collaborative team environment, where junior lawyers are encouraged to take responsibility, contribute to client relationships and become involved in business development initiatives.

You will advise landlords and housing clients on a broad range of residential property litigation matters, including:

You may also have the opportunity to work on contentious long leasehold matters, including:
- Service charge disputes and Section 20 consultations
- Section 27A proceedings in the First-tier Tribunal
- Lease extensions and collective enfranchisement
- Right to Manage matters
In addition to technical work, you will also be encouraged to contribute to client development, knowledge sharing and mentoring junior team members.
The firm's national Property Litigation team is one of the largest and most experienced in the UK, advising clients across the full spectrum of real estate disputes and landlord and tenant litigation.
The team acts on matters including:
- Possession claims and recovery of rent arrears
- Lease renewals and forfeiture
- Break notices and dilapidations
- Rights of light and easement disputes
- Service charge and leasehold management issues
- Property-related insolvency matters
- Restrictive covenants and land registration disputes
Clients include major retailers, leisure operators, institutional landlords, real estate investors, developers, local authorities and public sector organisations.

You will ideally have:
- Experience in landlord and tenant litigation
- Strong knowledge of housing law and possession proceedings
- Excellent drafting and case management skills
- A commercial and pragmatic approach to client advice
- The ability to work collaboratively within a busy national team
- Experience with long leasehold disputes, service charge matters or tribunal proceedings would be advantageous but is not essential.
