Property Litigation Solicitor | London An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Property Litigation Solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE to join a highly regarded and expanding Property Litigation team in London. This is an exciting role for a lawyer looking to further develop their expertise in property litigation while working alongside recognised specialists advising a broad range of clients across the social housing, local authority and private landlord sectors. The successful candidate will join a thriving and supportive team acting for Registered Providers, local authorities and private landlords throughout England and Wales. The team is experiencing continued growth and offers exposure to high-quality work, excellent career progression prospects and the opportunity to specialise in an area of law that continues to evolve, particularly in relation to building safety and fire safety legislation. The Opportunity You will manage your own varied caseload while also supporting senior lawyers on larger and more complex matters. The work will include a broad range of property litigation and housing management matters, including: - Forfeiture proceedings - Service charge disputes - Breach of lease claims - Lease interpretation and advisory work - Building safety and fire safety advice - Housing management litigation - Landlord and tenant disputes - Property-related contentious and non-contentious matters This role offers significant client contact and the opportunity to build long-term relationships with a well-established client base. You will also play an active role in business development initiatives and client training programmes. Key Responsibilities - Managing a busy and varied caseload from inception through to conclusion - Supporting partners and senior lawyers on complex and high-value matters - Providing practical, commercial and technically sound legal advice - Building and maintaining strong client relationships - Managing client expectations and ensuring deadlines are met - Supervising and mentoring junior team members, including paralegals - Prioritising competing deadlines across multiple matters - Delivering training sessions and presentations to clients - Participating in marketing and business development activities - Contributing to the continued growth and success of the team About You Applications are welcomed from Solicitors, FCILEx Lawyers (with Civil Litigation Practice Rights) and Barristers who can demonstrate: - A minimum of 3 years' PQE in property litigation and housing management matters - Experience managing your own files and caseload independently - Knowledge of landlord and tenant disputes and property litigation procedures - Exposure to building safety and fire safety matters would be advantageous - Previous supervisory experience or the ability to mentor junior colleagues - Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Exceptional organisational and case management abilities - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills - A resilient and solutions-focused mindset - A genuine interest in developing long-term client relationships Why Apply?
