Property Litigation Lawyer (Housing Management) | London Our client is a well-established and growing UK law firm with a strong reputation in the social housing and housing management sector. The firm is looking to appoint a Housing Management & Property Litigation Lawyer to join its London team. This is an attractive opportunity for a lawyer who wants genuine responsibility from the outset. You will manage your own caseload, work directly with established clients and have the opportunity to work alongside experienced partners on more complex matters. The Housing Management & Property Litigation team advises more than 100 Registered Providers (RPs), local authorities and private landlords across England and Wales. The team provides specialist advice across a broad range of housing management and property litigation issues, acting for clients on both contentious and advisory matters. Your work is likely to include: - Housing litigation and housing management matters. - Injunction applications and proceedings. - Possession claims. - Disrepair claims. - Policy and strategic housing advice. - Advising social housing providers, local authorities and private landlords. - Supporting partners on larger and more complex matters. - Managing cases from inception through to resolution. - Providing practical and commercially focused advice to clients. The role also offers the opportunity to become increasingly involved in client relationship management, business development and knowledge-sharing, helping you to develop beyond purely technical legal work. We are keen to hear from Solicitors, FCILEx Lawyers and Barristers who can demonstrate: - 2+ years' post-qualification experience in housing management, housing litigation or a closely related area. - Experience managing your own files and caseload. - Strong technical knowledge and sound case management skills. - For FCILEx candidates, Civil Litigation Practice Rights are essential. - The ability to work independently while seeking appropriate support when required. - Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - A confident and professional approach to client relationships. - Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving. - Excellent attention to detail. - Resilience, focus and determination to achieve positive outcomes. - A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within housing management and property litigation.
