The Firm: · Leading UK law firm with a nationally and internationally recognised Employment practice · Home to one of the largest specialist Employment teams in the UK · Consistently top-ranked in the legal directories, with numerous Partners recognised as leaders in their field · Global reach through an established international employment law network and overseas offices · Advising an impressive client base ranging from household-name brands and multinational corporations to fast-growing businesses and innovative start-ups · Expertise spanning the full spectrum of employment law, including advisory, litigation, executive exits, restrictive covenants, collective labour issues and international projects · Collaborative and supportive culture built around excellence, inclusivity and professional development · Clear career progression framework with structured development and advancement opportunities · Flexible and agile working environment The Role: · Senior Associate within the Employment team · Highly competitive salary and excellent benefits package · Hybrid working and lower target hours than competitors · Advising employer clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters · Supporting clients with complex employee relations issues, disciplinaries, grievances, discrimination matters, restructures and redundancies · Managing Employment Tribunal litigation and dispute resolution matters · Advising on the employment aspects of corporate transactions, including TUPE and due diligence exercises · Supporting clients on senior executive exits, restrictive covenant disputes and workplace investigations · Working on domestic and international employment projects for major UK and multinational clients · Taking responsibility for client relationships and delivering commercially focused advice · Supervising junior lawyers and playing an active role in team development · Supporting marketing, networking and business development initiatives The Candidate: · Qualified solicitor with 5-8 years' PQE in Employment law · Strong experience advising employer clients on both employment advisory and employment litigation matters · Experience gained within a recognised regional, national or international law firm · Excellent technical employment law knowledge and strong commercial awareness · Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills · Comfortable managing client relationships and handling matters with a high degree of autonomy · Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers would be advantageous · Ambitious, proactive and commercially minded approach · Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills · Collaborative team player with a genuine interest in business development and career progression This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's leading Employment practices, working with high-profile national and international clients on complex and strategic employment matters while benefiting from first-class career development, high-quality work and a supportive team environment.
