Employment Senior Associate 5+ PQE - Leeds
A well-regarded national firm is looking for a Senior Associate to join their growing team in Leeds. This is a leading national team, over 70 lawyers strong with an established client-base spanning a range of sectors to include commercial, health, charities, education and government.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join the National Employment team based in Leeds. Although the team work collaboratively cross-office, there is a strong presence in Leeds and as an area of growth this year, you will play a key part driving further growth and success in the team. Alongside the existing seven lawyers and support staff you will work collaboratively cross-office with wider national team over 70 lawyers strong, with an established client-base and exceptional quality work to be involved in.
Key Responsibilities include:
· You will undertake a mix of contentious and non-contentious work for a growing client-base spanning a range of sectors
· Deliver outstanding client service to internal and external clients to develop client retention and referrals
· Supervise and develop more junior members of the team.
ABOUT YOU
· Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE
· Experience gained within an established practice, ideally operating nationally
· Strong technical competence and legal knowledge in employment law
· Ability to lead on Employment Tribunal matters and run matters with limited supervision
· Experience of Employment Tribunal advocacy at preliminary hearings is also desirable
· Common sense and initiative, and ability to work as a team-player working on complex matters
· Ability to build strong relationships with clients, potential clients, multipliers and colleagues
· A comprehensive understanding of clients' legal, commercial and service requirements
· The ability to oversee and supervise the work of junior lawyers.
