Employment Senior Associate - Leeds A UK Top 100 firm is looking for an Employment Senior Associate to join their market-leading team based in Leeds. You will join an experienced team, renowned for handling some of the most sensitive and high-profile cases. The Opportunity: The Employment division is a recognised market leaders across health and social care sectors, alongside clients in other major sectors. Acting for around 200 NHS and private healthcare bodies throughout the UK, the team is at the forefront of bringing employment law services in the health sector. As a Senior Associate in this highly regarded team, you will work on a range of complex contentious and non-contentious matters including general employment advisory work, handling complex tribunal claims, whistleblowing, high profile cases, advising on reorganisation and redundancy issues and the application of healthcare legislation to routine employment matters. There is also a supervisory element to this role and the post-holder will supervise and delegate where appropriate. The Ideal Candidate: You will be a Qualified Solicitor with around 5 years PQE upwards and strong experience of employment litigation. You will also have the following skills/experience: · The ability to work effectively in teams · Ideally experience of overseeing junior lawyers and paralegals · Self-motivated, commercially minded and an interest in business development · Experience of advising employers in the health sector will be advantageous. There is a highly competitive salary on offer up to around £82k depending on experience, a bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
