Employment Associate or Senior Associate - Leeds An award-winning international firm is looking for an ambitious Associate or Senior Associate to join their successful health employment team based in Leeds. THE OPPORTUNITY An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join a highly regarded health employment team, supporting health organisations nationally with regards to workforce matters. You will have early exposure and responsibility with key clients to include NHS England, NHS Trusts, GP Practices, private hospital groups and other providers of healthcare services. The work is varied an interesting including nationally reported employment tribunal litigation and high-level advisory work, for example restructure within the NHS and other matters of significant importance across the country. You will undertake all aspects of employment law including drafting various employment documents, advising on maternity and paternity rights, discrimination, whistleblowing, employee relations issues, disciplinary matters and grievances, mediation, dismissals, redundancy and restructuring, TUPE and employment tribunal claims. The role will also involve providing transactional support where required. ABOUT YOU · Qualified Solicitor with demonstrable experience within an established employment practice. · Experience of managing a caseload and providing sound, pragmatic advice. · Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal. · The ability to build and maintain client and internal relationships. · The ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively. · A strong commercial acumen.
