Housing Management Solicitor/Associate NQ-7 PQE - Leeds A leading national firm seeks a Housing Management Solicitor or Associate to join their market-leading team, based in Leeds. This is a great opportunity to join an established, high-performing team with an impressive client list to include a considerable number of registered providers, ranging from many of the top ten largest providers nationally at one end of the spectrum to smaller, specialist providers at the other and everything in between. THE OPPORTUNITY Following authentic growth over the last few years, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor or Associate to join the highly regarded Housing Management team. This is one of the largest of its kind across the country with an excellent reputation and an established client base. As a part of this team, you will advise largely social landlords on a broad range of housing management issues, including possession claims, Injunction claims, cases involving the Equality Act 2010 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005, breach of tenancy claims, disrepair, access injunctions for gas and electricity safety, failed succession cases, leasehold management advice and service charge disputes. Whilst the majority of work is for housing associations, the team advise a wide range of other organisations to include local authorities, care providers, the NHS, universities, charities, and private landlords. ABOUT YOU · Qualified Solicitor with experience working for social landlords. · Experience acting for housing associations is also desirable but not essential. · Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues. · A good team player and keenness to work collaboratively with colleagues. · Exceptional organisation skills and a keen eye for detail. OTHER INFORMATION · Flexible working with no mandatory office days. · Starting salary from £50k upwards depending on experience. · Competitive bonus scheme and substantial benefits package.
