Experienced Residential Conveyancer
We are a fast-growing, specialist, technology-focused conveyancing firm handling residential property matters, including probate and divorce sales, transfers and related work.
We are looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys managing their own caseload, delivering a high level of client service and working in a modern, technology-led environment.
The Role
You will manage residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, ensuring transactions progress efficiently, accurately and in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing an end-to-end caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
Preparing, reviewing and progressing contracts, transfer deeds, mortgage documentation and other legal documents
Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, solicitors and other parties throughout the transaction
Carrying out property searches, due diligence and associated legal checks
Maintaining accurate and well-organised case files
Managing deadlines and ensuring transactions progress efficiently
Providing clear, professional and compassionate communication to clients throughout the conveyancing process
Supporting wider administrative and property-related tasks as required
About You
We are looking for someone with:
3-5 years' residential conveyancing experience, with the ability to manage your own caseload
A CILEx qualification, CLC licence or law degree
Strong experience handling freehold and leasehold transactions independently
Excellent organisational and attention-to-detail skills
Confident communication skills and a client-focused approach
A professional, approachable manner and the ability to show empathy when dealing with clients experiencing difficult personal circumstances
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, technology-led environment
Location & Training
The role is based from one of our offices in Chester or Weston-super-Mare.
Candidates must be able to attend their chosen office at least twice a month and be available to attend Chester for initial training, with reasonable expenses covered.
