Business Litigation Shareholder - Plano, Texas We are seeking a shareholder with 10 or more years of experience to join a Business Litigation team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate should have a broad range of experience in commercial litigation, including first chair jury trial experience in state and federal courts. There is a particular interest in attorneys with experience in contract disputes, breach of warranty and deceptive trade practice claims, shareholder/governance disputes, intellectual property disputes, professional negligence claims, and real estate and construction disputes. The ideal candidate should have a growth mindset and already possess the ability to collaborate with, motivate, and lead other members of a collegial litigation team. The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience managing complex commercial litigation matters, including: independently managing a litigation docket, overseeing discovery, taking and defending depositions, arguing motions in court, and supervising junior associates and litigation support staff. The ideal candidate will be prepared to work closely with shareholders and clients from day one and will be given substantial responsibility and autonomy. The position offers a clear path to shareholder for the right candidate. Salary will be commensurate with experience and portable business.
