Senior Employment Solicitor, Leeds We are working with this highly regarded trade union firm in central Leeds, who are looking for an experienced claimant Employment lawyer to join the team. The employment team there is currently a 2-partner, 10-person team acting on behalf of a wide range of major trade union clients and their members, across a wide range of industry sectors. Examples of trade unions they act for include Unite, National Education Union, the Musicians Union, Aegis, GFTU, Napo, SWU, Equality for Workers Union and TSSA. The firm has been established for 143 years and works with 34 major trade unions and professional associations on the full range of Employment matters, including complex and interesting Tribunal claims from cradle to grave, as well as non-contentious advisory work. This is a fast-growing team with a further 3 lawyers joining them in the coming months. They are now looking for a more senior lawyer with at least 6PQE, as a key hire to help them with their continued growth. As the Leeds team grows further, they anticipate that it will grow to at least a 3-partner team, so there are excellent ongoing progression prospects.
