Property Litigation Associate / Senior Associate - Leeds
If you're a Property Litigator with 2+ PQE and you fancy joining a team that's genuinely growing rather than just saying it, this could be worth a look. The Leeds office of this national firm is building out its Real Estate Litigation offering and wants someone who enjoys high-quality work, friendly professional colleagues, and a client base that actually makes a difference.
You'd be joining a friendly, down-to-earth team led by partners who trained at the firm themselves - they're big on long-term development rather than short-term churn. The work is varied, substantial, and rooted in real-world impact across health, local government, emergency services, and primary care. Expect everything from easements and restrictive covenants through to 1954 Act renewals, squatter removals, GP partnership disputes, multi-million-pound dilaps, estate reorganisations, and the occasional judicial review.
What's on offer:
A genuinely supportive team culture.
A broad mix of complex, interesting matters involving well-known public sector and independent organisations.
Hybrid working as standard, with plenty of flexibility - the Leeds office is there when you want it, not as a daily or weekly obligation.
Ongoing training and development, plus the chance to collaborate with specialists across all core sectors.
Clear scope to take ownership, run with client relationships, and help shape the team's growth in Leeds.
A lower than average chargeable hours target coupled with a highly achievable, and higher than average bonus structure.
What they're looking for:
A 2+PQE Solicitor with solid property litigation experience, sharp communication skills, and the confidence to deliver clear, practical advice. Public sector experience is a bonus, not a prerequisite. If you enjoy mentoring juniors and contributing to BD without the heavy-handed pressure, you'll fit right in.
The firm is openly committed to inclusion and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds. They take adjustments seriously and treat candidates as individuals, not numbers.
If you're in Leeds and want an opportunity that blends high-quality work with flexibility and a genuinely human culture, this is one to consider. Get in touch with Julit Lawson for more details.
