Patent Prosecution and Litigiation Associate

The Firm An AmLaw 100 firm is seeking an Intellectual Property Litigation Associate to join their nationally recognised IP practice. What You Will Be Doing * Handling complex patent and technology-focused litigation matters through all stages of the dispute lifecycle. * Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other key litigation documents. * Taking and defending depositions and working closely with technical and damages experts. * Representing clients in PTAB proceedings, patent disputes, and trial matters. * Managing day-to-day case strategy and client communications. * Supervising and mentoring junior associates and paralegals. * Working with clients across technology, software, electronics, life sciences, and other innovation-driven industries. You Will Have * 3-5 years of intellectual property litigation experience. * Experience with briefing, motions practice, depositions, expert witnesses, PTAB proceedings, and case management. * A proven track record of independently managing matters and supervising junior team members. * A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline. * USPTO admission, or the ability to qualify, is highly desirable. * Excellent written and oral advocacy skills. * Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities. * Outstanding academic credentials. * Admission to practice law, or the ability to become licensed promptly, in the state where the role is based.
