NQ - 6 | Employment Solicitor | Award winning firm | Northampton BCL Legal is delighted to be assisting an award winning regional law firm in its recruitment of an Employment Solicitor from the newly qualified through to Senior Associate level. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior to mid level Employment Solicitor to join an award winning and friendly team in the Northampton office. The Role As an Employment Solicitor you would: - Work on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters including: assisting with modern slavery Act compliance, advising on re-structuring, changing terms and conditions of employment, large scale redundancies, advice in connection with SMT disputes, providing advice on HR matters, assisting with data protection compliance and representing clients in Employment tribunals. - Work for a diverse client base including SME's, OMBs and listed companies. - Predominantly act for Respondent clients but also act for some employees. About You To be successful in your application for this Employment vacancy, you will: - Have a minimum of a training seat or paralegal experience in employment (ideally acting for Respondent clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters) at the junior end and relevant post qualification employment experience if a more senior candidate. - Have a driven and enthusiastic attitude. - Have a strong teamwork ethic. - Have a proactive approach to business development. - Have strong IT skills.
