Employment PSL Lawyer | International law firm | Nottingham | 8+ PQE We have a unique opportunity for an Employment PSL Lawyer to join an International Law Firm based in their Nottingham office. This is an exciting role for an experienced lawyer with at least 8 years' post-qualification experience (PQE), including a minimum of 4 years as a PSL, to make a significant impact in shaping the firm's knowledge strategy and supporting the UK employment team in delivering world-class service. The Role As an Employment PSL Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the UK employment team while also liaising with offices across the firm's global network. Your responsibilities will span a variety of key areas, all central to the firm's growth and client-facing strategies. Key Responsibilities: · Collaborating closely with the marketing team to highlight and demonstrate the firm's capabilities to both current and potential clients. · Taking a leading role in developing the firm's fee-earning talent, ensuring technical excellence, and supporting the continuous development of lawyers at all levels of qualification. · Working with lawyers across the firm to develop commercially focused and technically robust advice. · Keeping the team, clients, and client prospects up to date on key developments in law and practice, ensuring everyone is informed of need-to-know updates. · Contributing to key client relationships through horizon scanning, knowledge management, and proactively advising on emerging trends. · Engaging with industry bodies to maintain the firm's visibility in the employment law community. · Participating in profile-raising activities, such as writing articles, contributing to external networks, sitting on committees, and developing thought leadership materials. · Advising on providing innovative solutions to clients' issues, utilising technology where appropriate to enhance service delivery. Skills & Experience: The ideal candidate will: · Have at least 8 years' PQE in employment law, with a minimum of 4 years' experience as a PSL. · Be a team player with a proactive, self-starting attitude and a broad commercial perspective. · Have a genuine interest in black letter law, with excellent technical skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for innovation. · Be enthusiastic about the use of AI and legal technology to help drive the firm's forward-thinking approach, collaborating with the Legal Technology team to improve efficiency and service delivery. · Be a strategic thinker with a genuine desire to elevate the firm's employment offering through a combination of technical excellence and creative problem-solving.
