Senior Private Client Solicitor/Head of Department - Greater Manchester Are you an experienced Private Client Solicitor ready to take the next step in your career? A highly regarded, Legal 500 recognised law firm based in Bolton is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to lead its well-established Private Client Department. The Role: This is a senior-level opportunity for an ambitious solicitor to head a busy and growing department. You will play a key strategic role within the firm, overseeing a team and managing a varied caseload of: Wills and estate planning Probate and estate administration Trust creation and management Lasting Powers of Attorney Court of Protection matters You will also contribute to business development, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality, client-focused legal services. Key Responsibilities: Leading and managing the Private Client team Handling a full and complex caseload of private client matters Driving departmental growth and contributing to firm-wide strategy Managing client relationships and maintaining high service standards Supervising and supporting junior solicitors and support staff Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements About You: 7+ years PQE in Private Client work (STEP qualification desirable) Proven track record in managing and growing a team desirable Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of private client law Excellent client care, interpersonal, and leadership skills A proactive and commercial approach to practice development Benefits: Salary up to £80,000 A senior leadership role with scope for influence and progression Supportive and collaborative working environment Flexible working options and modern office facilities Benefits package This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact at a well-established and forward-thinking firm.
