Employment Associate | 1+ PQE | Offshore Magic Circle Firm | Tier 1 Employment | Channel Islands An Offshore Magic Circle firm is seeking an ambitious lawyer to join its Tier 1 ranked employment practice in either their Jersey or Guernsey locations. The role would suit those who are open to an exciting relocation opportunity at the early stages of their career, gaining invaluable exposure to high-quality employment matters at a leading international firm. The firm: - Ranked as top tier offshore firm across all major legal indexes - Global presence spanning Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia - Advises on jurisdictions of BVI, the Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Jersey, Guernsey and Ireland - Works on behalf of global corporations, financial institutions, investment funds managers and capital market participants The role: - Working alongside leading practitioners in the Channel Islands to assist in expanding the employment practice in-line with firm wide expansion plans - Advising on full spectrum of employment law matters - A focus on providing general advice to employers under Channel Islands law Benefits: - Highly competitive salary - Relocation grant - Excellent work/ life balance in desirable offshore location - Clear career progression The candidate: - Ideally 1-3 PQE - The majority of post qualified experience spent advising on employment law either in UK or the Channel Islands - Strong technical knowledge of employment role - Excellent academics - Prior offshore experience not essential
