Family Senior Associate

Family Senior Associate We are working in partnership with a well-established and highly regarded law firm based in Staffordshire, known for delivering exceptional client care and legal expertise in private family matters. The firm has a long-standing reputation and an expanding private client base across the region. Due to sustained growth, the firm is now seeking a skilled Family Solicitor with 5+ years PQE to join its dedicated family law team. Key Responsibilities: * Manage a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters, including: * Divorce & Separation * Financial Remedy * Private Children Act Proceedings * Cohabitation & Pre/Post-Nuptial Agreements * Domestic Abuse Injunctions * Take client instructions, conduct case assessments, and deliver practical legal advice tailored to individual needs. * Attend court hearings and represent clients as appropriate. * Engage in business development and networking to maintain and grow the department's private client base. * Supervise junior team members or paralegals if applicable. Requirements: * Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years post-qualification experience. * Extensive experience handling exclusively private family law work. * Strong advocacy, negotiation, and client care skills. * A proactive and compassionate approach to client matters. * Ability to manage a full caseload with minimal supervision. * Familiarity with case management systems and digital working practices.
