Property Litigation Solicitor
We are working with a well-regarded regional law firm in Shropshire that is seeking an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor to join its expanding Dispute Resolution team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE to take on a varied and interesting caseload of real estate-related disputes, acting for a loyal client base of commercial and private clients.
The Role
You will handle a broad mix of contentious property matters, working closely with the firm's commercial property and private client teams. The role offers a great blend of autonomy, support, and career development in a friendly, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Advising on commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes, including possession claims, lease renewals, rent arrears, and dilapidations
* Handling boundary disputes, rights of way, easements, and restrictive covenant issues
* Advising landowners, developers, and occupiers on property-related disputes
* Dealing with adverse possession and land registration issues
* Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations
* Drafting legal documents, letters before action, and instructions to counsel
* Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision and support
About You
* Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 2 years' PQE
* Solid experience in property litigation gained in private practice
* Confident advocate and negotiator with strong drafting skills
* Excellent client-facing skills and commercial awareness
* Able to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
* Organised, proactive, and committed to delivering a high standard of service
