Employment Solicitor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a driven Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded regional law firm in Worcester. This role is ideal for a newly qualified to 3 years' PQE solicitor with a genuine interest in employment law and a desire to work with a strong client base of businesses across the region. The Role You will join a growing Employment Law team and advise a wide variety of business clients - from SMEs to larger corporates - on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The role offers a broad and stimulating caseload, as well as the opportunity to work closely with senior lawyers and gain excellent hands-on experience. Key Responsibilities * Advising employer clients on day-to-day HR and employment law issues * Drafting and reviewing contracts of employment, handbooks, and policies * Advising on disciplinary procedures, redundancies, grievances, and settlement agreements * Representing clients in Employment Tribunal claims including unfair dismissal, discrimination, and breach of contract * Supporting corporate transactions from an employment law perspective (e.g., TUPE) * Keeping up to date with legal developments and supporting clients through training or briefings About You * Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ - 3 PQE) * Experience or seat in employment law (contentious and/or non-contentious) * Confident communicator with strong drafting skills * Client-focused with a commercial outlook * Ability to manage a varied caseload and meet deadlines The Firm Offers * A friendly, supportive team environment * Realistic career progression opportunities * Competitive salary and benefits package * Hybrid working options * Regular training and professional development To apply for the position of Employment Solicitor please contact Nicholas Fear at BCL Legal
