Are you a talented Employment Solicitor seeking your next move? An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Associate to join the expanding Employment team of a highly regarded, full-service UK law firm. 
 
The Role 
Based in the Manchester office, this is a rare opportunity to join a vibrant and award-winning Employment department at a key stage of its growth. As an Associate, you will work closely with senior lawyers and partners to advise a prestigious client base on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters. 
Key Responsibilities: 
Advising employers on complex and strategic employment law matters, often at board level 
Drafting, reviewing, and advising on contracts of employment, handbooks, and workplace policies 
Handling Employment Tribunal litigation from instruction through to hearing 
Supporting employment aspects of large corporate transactions and reorganisations 
Advising on and managing high-value or sensitive disciplinary, grievance and dismissal issues 
Responding to data subject access requests and other employment-related data privacy matters 
Delivering seminars, writing articles, and supporting business development activities 
Developing long-term relationships with clients and acting as a trusted legal advisor 
Contributing to internal training and mentoring of junior lawyers and trainees 
 
The Person 
A qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 1-3 years' PQE in employment law 
Have experience advising commercial and/or public sector clients 
Demonstrate strong technical skills and commercial acumen 
Show an entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine interest in business development 
Thrive in a collaborative and supportive team culture 
Be proactive, professional, and passionate about employment law
