Practice Innovation Lead - Disputes - Manchester Are you a disputes lawyer or legal professional with a passion for innovation, technology and the future of legal service delivery? This newly created practice innovation role offers an outstanding opportunity to combine your legal expertise with strategic influence, driving meaningful change within a leading, full-service law firm. The Opportunity This is a unique role at the intersection of law, technology, and innovation. Sitting within the firm's Innovation & Legal Technology team, you will play a pivotal part in shaping how disputes lawyers embrace innovative tools and smarter ways of working. Acting as the bridge between the disputes practice and the innovation group, you will: Engage and influence - build relationships with disputes lawyers at all levels, identify pain points, and champion new solutions. Implement innovation - scope, roll out and embed legal technology tools that improve efficiency, productivity and client outcomes. Deliver training & change - design and deliver tailored sessions to encourage adoption, while supporting lawyers through change. Monitor impact - analyse data, track adoption and measure ROI, ensuring innovation is aligned to practice group strategy. Collaborate widely - work closely with colleagues across the Innovation & Legal Technology team and the wider Innovation Group to share insights and best practice. About You This role will appeal to a disputes lawyer (or legal professional with disputes experience) seeking to take their career in an exciting new direction. You should bring: 5+ years' experience in commercial disputes, investigations, arbitration, or related practice areas. A strong understanding of legal processes and workflows in contentious matters. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire confidence. A solutions-focused mindset, eager to identify opportunities for smarter, more efficient working practices. Preferred (but not essential) experience includes: Familiarity with legal technology tools and their application in dispute resolution. Project or change management expertise, ideally gained within professional services. Previous exposure to legal innovation initiatives. Career Development & Why Apply?
