Employment Associate / Senior Associate (3+ PQE) A highly regarded Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked UK law firm is seeking an Employment Associate or Senior Associate to join its established Commercial Employment team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Employment Solicitor or CILEX-qualified lawyer looking to develop their career within a collaborative, supportive and progressive environment, handling high-quality respondent and contentious employment matters. This opportunity would suit a lawyer with 3+ years' PQE seeking exposure to a broad and complex caseload, advocacy opportunities, client relationship development, and a genuine route for long-term progression. The Opportunity Joining a respected and growing Employment team, you will manage a varied caseload of contentious and advisory employment matters while working alongside experienced specialists on complex and strategic matters. You will advise on a wide range of matters, including: Unfair Dismissal Claims, Employment Discrimination Matters, TUPE Issues, Redundancy and Restructuring Advice, Employment Tribunal Proceedings and Financial Liability Assessments and Risk Analysis Key Responsibilities - Managing a varied and often complex caseload of employment matters from instruction through to resolution - Representing clients and attending Employment Tribunal hearings, including conducting advocacy where appropriate - Providing clear, commercially focused legal advice to clients across contentious and non-contentious issues - Supporting colleagues on larger matters and contributing to wider departmental objectives - Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers, trainees and support staff - Assisting with business development initiatives and helping raise the profile of the Employment team About You - At least 3 years' PQE in Employment Law - Experience managing your own caseload of employment matters - Strong knowledge of Employment Tribunal procedures and litigation This role offers a genuine long-term career opportunity within a well established, award winning firm recognised for investing in its people and supporting progression.
