Real Estate Disputes Lawyer - Senior / Managing Associate A leading international law firm is seeking an ambitious Real Estate Disputes Senior / Managing Associate with 6+ years' PQE to join its highly regarded Manchester team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Real Estate Litigation Solicitor to take a leading role on high-value, high-profile and complex property disputes, while continuing to develop their client relationships, leadership skills and business development experience. The team has an excellent reputation for handling sophisticated real estate disputes for a broad client base, including major landlords, tenants, developers, investors, corporate occupiers, financial institutions and insolvency practitioners. The Opportunity Joining an established and collegiate Real Estate Disputes team, you will work alongside experienced Partners, Legal Directors and other senior lawyers on a varied caseload involving some of the most complex contentious property matters. The Manchester team has significant experience in high-value litigation, including matters reaching the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, providing an excellent platform for a lawyer looking to further develop their technical expertise and profile. Alongside complex litigation, the role will involve a broad range of commercial property disputes, including landlord and tenant work, dilapidations, lease renewals, rent reviews, professional negligence and wider property management disputes. As a Managing Associate, you will be given significant responsibility and autonomy, with the opportunity to lead matters, develop client relationships and play an important role in the continued growth of the practice. About You You are likely to have: - Strong technical expertise across a broad range of contentious real estate matters. - Experience independently managing significant property disputes and litigation. - The confidence to lead complex landlord and tenant matters and related court proceedings. - Excellent judgement across legal, procedural and strategic issues. - Strong client relationship management skills and an ability to act as a trusted adviser. - Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers, or a clear desire to develop your leadership responsibilities. - An interest in business development and building your profile within the real estate disputes market.
