UK based organisation, with an impressive property portfolio, is looking to appoint a qualified Company Secretary to work closely with the executive team to deliver best practice in governance and regulatory compliance. The Opportunity: Group Company Secretary This is a rare opportunity to shape and oversee the governance and compliance framework of a dynamic and innovative organisation with a significant property portfolio. You will lead the development and implementation of group-wide compliance strategies, ensuring adherence to all legal, regulatory, and governance standards. You'll work closely with the senior leaders to uphold best practices in governance across group operations. Key Responsibilities You will be a key contact for all governance and compliance matters, including communicating decisions to the directors and committees for all group companies, minuting meetings, maintaining records and statutory compliance and filings. You will be responsible for providing training for board and committee members in line with all corporate and legal requirements under the Companies Act. You will have direct line management responsibility and take a lead on designing and implementing policies and procedures. About You You must have a proven track record in a Company Secretary role with exceptional relationship building and senior stakeholder management skills. You will have the ability to influence and challenge where necessary and be a subject matter expert in corporate governance and company secretarial matters. You will ideally be CGI qualified, qualified solicitors with relevant company secretarial experience or equivalent qualifications will also be considered. You should be well versed in providing high-quality board meeting support and will be highly organised to meet all required deadlines.
