PRIVATE CLIENT SOLICITOR - DURHAM A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Durham, known for delivering high-quality commercial and private client services is looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its ranks, as part of their continued growth strategy. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, collaborative and forward-thinking Private Client team. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening and expanding the firm's Wills, Trusts & Probate offering, working alongside experienced colleagues across offices. The successful applicant will manage their own varied caseload, advising clients across the full spectrum of private client matters, including: - Drafting Wills - Lasting Powers of Attorney - Court of Protection matters - Estate Administration - Trust creation and administration The role will also involve contributing to business development initiatives and working collaboratively with colleagues across departments to support the firm's wider growth strategy. The Ideal Candidate will have: - A minimum of 4 years' PQE - Strong experience handling Trust matters - Excellent technical knowledge across Wills, Trusts & Probate - Be STEP qualified or part-qualified (or willing to undertake STEP training) - Confident managing a full and varied caseload independently - Highly motivated with strong organisational skills - Proficient IT skills - Exceptional relationship-building and networking ability This represents a strong opportunity for an ambitious Private Client lawyer seeking long-term career progression within a respected and growing regional firm.
