EMPLOYMENT SOLICITOR - DURHAM
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded law firm in Durham. The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Advising both employers and employees on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and other documentation
- Providing ongoing support and advice to clients through the firm's smart HR retainer service
- Assisting clients with disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancies, and employment tribunal claims
- Supporting corporate teams on employment-related aspects of transactions (experience in corporate support is advantageous but not essential)
- Working alongside senior lawyers and partners on complex advisory matters and legal research
- Building strong client relationships and delivering excellent client service
- Participating in business development activities
- Maintaining CPD requirements through ongoing training and professional development
Candidate Profile
- Newly Qualified Solicitor up to 6 years' PQE with experience in employment law
- Completion of at least one seat in employment law or demonstrable relevant experience
- Commercially aware with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A proactive and motivated approach with a genuine interest in developing a career in employment law
- Strong academic background and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and meet deadlines effectively
