EMPLOYMENT SOLICITOR - 3+ PQE - NEWCASTLE OR STOCKTON-ON-TEES An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a dynamic and growing team at a modern, forward-thinking firm with offices in Newcastle and Stockton-on-Tees. This role presents a unique chance for a solicitor with a strong background in Employment Law to manage a varied caseload while contributing to the firm's continued growth and success. About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a broad range of Employment Law matters, offering expert legal advice to both individual and business clients. The role involves working in a supportive team environment, where collaboration and growth are key. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert advice on a wide variety of employment law issues, including guidance on corporate transactions when required Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements Represent clients in employment tribunals, negotiating on their behalf and assisting counsel as necessary Conduct legal research and remain up-to-date with the latest employment law developments and legislation Manage a full caseload of diverse clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture, mentoring junior solicitors and support staff Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referrers, driving business development in line with the firm's growth strategy Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices The ideal candidate will possess: A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE in employment law A proven track record in managing complex employment law cases with successful outcomes Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development A keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service What's on Offer: The firm offers a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and an engaging, supportive culture.
