AGRICULTURAL PROPERTY SOLICITOR - NEWCASTLE - NQ - 5PQE An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor (NQ-5 PQE) to join a growing Agriculture, Estates and Rural Property team, which continues to enjoy exceptional success within the sector. The successful candidate will ideally have experience providing legal advice in the agricultural sector, however, candidates with a commercial property background who have a strong interest in specialising in rural and landed estates work will also be considered. You will be involved in a range of work including: - Buying, selling or letting rural property, including farms, landed estates, amenity land and woodland - Easements and rights of way, both private and public - Agricultural tenancies, including successions - Minerals ownership, including title, registration and trespass issues - Working mines and minerals - Estate management - First registrations - Sporting rights, including shooting and fishing - Rural property secured lending, acting for lenders and/or borrowers - Renewable energy and energy storage schemes, including options and leases for solar farms The ideal candidate will be proactive, commercially aware and technically strong, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of their work. Excellent people and client management skills will also be important, alongside a genuine interest in business development and building strong client relationships. The Agriculture, Estates and Rural Property team is an important part of a wider law firm of more than 200 people.
