Employment Lawyer - 5+ PQE - Belfast I'm currently working with a top-tier law firm with an excellent reputation in employment law to recruit a senior associate or experienced employment lawyer to join their Belfast team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and high-performing practice that advises some of the world's most recognisable businesses across a wide range of employment matters. About the Opportunity This position sits within one of the most well-established and respected employment teams in the UK, with a truly international reach and expertise spanning the UK, Ireland, and key global jurisdictions. You'll work alongside ranked partners and senior lawyers who are known in the market for their legal insight and commercial acumen. You'll be involved in a broad mix of advisory, litigation, and transactional employment work, with clients ranging from multinational corporations to dynamic startups. Areas of work include: Day-to-day employment advisory (contracts, grievances, discrimination, etc.) Employment litigation (tribunal and high court) Complex issues such as collective consultation, TUPE, restrictive covenants, and whistleblowing Cross-border projects, international HR support, and global mobility Executive exits, bonuses, and employment-related tax and reward matters The Role Offers: The chance to work in a progressive and inclusive environment where career development is genuinely supported A varied and high-quality workload with direct client exposure Support for dual-qualified lawyers or those with experience in both NI and ROI employment law A hybrid working policy and a flexible approach to modern working Competitive salary and benefits package, reflective of your experience About You: To succeed in this role, you will likely have: 5+ years' PQE in employment law, ideally from a recognised firm or employment-focused practice Dual qualification or strong exposure to both NI and ROI employment law (or a genuine interest in developing this) Strong drafting and client-facing skills, with a confident and commercial approach A collaborative mindset with experience supervising junior lawyers or supporting team growth A proactive attitude and a genuine interest in building client relationships and contributing to the team's business development efforts This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who wants to take on a visible, rewarding role in a firm that values innovation, inclusivity, and career progression.
