Senior Associate - Employment | Belfast (Hybrid) Contact: Sean Cully | BCL Legal An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Senior Associate to join the Belfast office of a leading national law firm. The firm's employment practice continues to grow steadily and is recognised for the quality of its work, its collaborative approach, and its ability to provide pragmatic, commercial advice to clients operating across both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. You'll work alongside a highly experienced Director and wider national team on a broad range of employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious, for a strong mix of local, national, and international employers. The Role This position will involve: * Managing your own caseload of advisory, transactional, and contentious matters. * Representing clients in tribunals and before the WRC. * Advising on TUPE, reorganisations, policies, contracts, and senior exits. * Providing employment support on corporate transactions. * Taking an active role in mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to business development. The team handles complex and varied work, and this role offers plenty of client contact, autonomy, and the chance to help shape the growth of the Belfast employment offering. About You We're keen to hear from candidates who: * Are qualified in Northern Ireland and/or the Republic of Ireland. * Have around 5+ years' PQE in employment law within a well-regarded firm. * Can demonstrate experience advising employer clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters. * Are comfortable running cases end-to-end and providing clear, commercially focused advice. * Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.
