The position entails advising clients on a spectrum of probate matters, including applications for grants of representation, inheritance tax calculations, post-death variations, asset distribution, and trust establishment or restructuring. Additionally, there is the chance to collaborate with senior team members on broader issues such as estate and succession planning, tax matters, Will drafting, and trust management. To thrive in this role, the following skills and experience are essential: - Able to commute to the Cambridge/Norfolk office. - A minimum of 1 years PQE, preferably gained at a reputable firm with a focus on high net worth individuals. - A proven track record of independently managing files, including financial oversight. - A strong foundation in preparing accounts for probates and trusts. - A commitment to fostering robust client relationships. - Progress towards or completion of the STEP Diploma is highly advantageous. While not mandatory, an accounting qualification and STEP qualification are desirable and will enhance your application.
