Real Estate Solicitor NQ | Newly Qualified | London BCL Legal is working with an established and growing legal practice with offices in Harrow and Central London, seeking a Junior Commercial Property Solicitor (NQ-1 PQE) to join their specialist real estate team based in Harrow. This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor to launch their career in commercial property law within a supportive, dynamic, and collaborative environment. The firm has a strong presence in the property sector and acts for a broad range of clients, including property investors, developers, landlords, and corporate occupiers. As part of the team, you'll work on a variety of commercial property matters, gaining hands-on experience from day one and contributing to a wide range of transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, mixed-use developments, commercial leases, and landlord and tenant matters. The Opportunity: This role, based in Harrow, offers you the chance to work closely with senior solicitors and partners, gaining early responsibility and exposure to high-quality work. You will have the opportunity to support on both commercial and residential property matters and play an integral role in the firm's continued success. The team is committed to nurturing and developing junior solicitors, providing a clear path for career progression. Key Responsibilities - Assist on the sale and purchase of commercial and mixed-use properties, including new builds and conversions. - Draft and negotiate commercial leases, licences, and tenancy agreements. - Help with title reviews, planning, environmental and commercial due diligence as part of transactional support. - Liaise with clients, agents, and other stakeholders to progress matters efficiently and provide pragmatic legal advice under supervision. - Work alongside experienced solicitors and support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery. What We're Looking For - A qualified solicitor (NQ-1 PQE) in England & Wales, with training or post-qualification experience in commercial property law. - A genuine interest in real estate and property development. - Strong drafting, communication, and organisational skills. - A proactive, positive attitude with a desire to learn and progress within a specialist team.
