Boutique commercial law firm (National) | Charities
About the Firm
This is a multi-award-winning fee share law firm designed for high-performing lawyers who want greater autonomy, flexibility and financial reward-without compromising culture or quality. Described by The Lawyer as "the best of both worlds," this practice combines the brand and infrastructure of a boutique firm with the independence of a platform model.
The Opportunity
Due to strategic national growth, they are seeking a senior lawyer with experience of working with charities to join as a Consultant.
Your role will involve supporting the corporate and private client teams by finding the best legal structures, establishing governance and relationships between trustees/management/funders/donors/stakeholders.
Managing relationships with the Charity Commission, Companies House and other key regulators for the sector.
Using the firm's charity, private client and tax expertise to advise on philanthropy.
They are intentionally selective, prioritising culture, quality and collaboration over volume hiring.
What You'll Gain
70% fee share on collected bills
Freedom, flexibility and autonomy over your practice
National platform and cross-referrals
Infrastructure covering compliance, finance, billing, marketing & BD
Ability to set rates, choose clients and build teams
Hybrid working with offices in Manchester and London
Access to high-quality events, collaboration groups and culture initiatives
Entry support including work allocation for new joiners (where relevant)
What We're Looking For
Senior lawyer with an entrepreneurial outlook.
Strong client relationships and professional reputation
Collaborative mindset - culture fit is essential
About You
You may be considering alternatives to traditional private practice or are already operating in a fee-share environment and seeking a more aligned culture. You value autonomy, commercial reward and meaningful collaboration.
