Landed Estates and Property Lawyer, Chester

This is genuinely one of the most exciting property roles we've been instructed on, based out of Chester. We are working with a highly-regarded national law firm currently looking to appoint an ambitious property solicitor to join its specialist team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to high-value and complex property transactions, working closely with an experienced Partner and junior members of the team on a significant national rural estate portfolio. The nature of the work is quite confidential and would therefore require some office based working. This exciting opportunity also brings with it significant long term benefits as the partner would like to eventually hand over the reigns to someone who can handle this work and client, the envy of City firms. The Opportunity is to: · Assist with and manage property transactions from instruction through to completion · Prepare and review contract documentation and supporting paperwork · Undertake title investigations and report on title and transaction information · Deal with Land Registry applications and registrations · Liaise with clients, solicitors, agents and other third parties to progress transactions efficiently · Develop your knowledge across a broad range of property and conveyancing matters · Work closely with an experienced Partner and benefit from hands-on training and support · Take increasing responsibility for your own caseload as your experience develops The ideal candidate will be a recently (NQ-4 yrs) qualified Solicitor with experience in conveyancing or commercial property.
