Legal Manager, Employment Tribunals | Managed Legal Services | Birmingham BCL Legal is currently recruiting for an experienced Legal Manager to join a leading national law firm's Employment Tribunals Managed Legal Services team in Birmingham. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer to take on a leadership role within a growing Managed Legal Services function. Combining technical employment law expertise with operational management, you'll play a key role in delivering high-volume tribunal work while helping to shape innovative legal service delivery. The Role: Working alongside Employment partners and wider client teams, you'll be responsible for: Leading the delivery of high-volume employment tribunal matters within the Managed Legal Services team Supervising and developing lawyers and paralegals, ensuring consistently high-quality legal advice and service delivery Managing the full tribunal process, from allocation and pleadings through to disclosure, witness preparation and hearings Maintaining your own employment tribunal caseload alongside leadership responsibilities Allocating work effectively to maximise efficiency while maintaining quality Acting as the escalation point for complex tribunal matters Driving continuous improvement through structured workflows, legal technology and AI-enabled solutions Monitoring performance against agreed service levels, KPIs and quality standards Managing utilisation, billing and financial performance across the tribunal portfolio Supporting the continued growth and development of the team as the service expands Why Apply?
