The Firm: * Leading UK commercial law firm with a strong reputation across the public, health, housing, local government and commercial sectors * Flexible hybrid working model with no fixed office attendance requirements * Consistently recognised in the legal directories and ranked among The Times Best Law Firms * Strong track record of sustainable growth and ongoing investment in its people and practice areas * Advises a broad client base including central government departments, local authorities, NHS bodies and major corporates * Award-winning firm known for its collaborative culture, technical excellence and sector expertise * Values-led organisation with a genuine commitment to responsible business, wellbeing and inclusion * Strong focus on learning, development and long-term career progression The Role: * Solicitor role within a nationally recognised Procurement Litigation team * Competitive salary and excellent benefits package * Advising on a broad range of contentious procurement matters, from strategic risk management through to High Court litigation * Acting for both claimants and defendants in procurement challenges and disputes * Working with clients across sectors including IT, infrastructure, construction, transport and energy * Supporting central government departments, local authorities, NHS organisations and major commercial clients * Opportunity to work on wider commercial disputes alongside procurement matters * Exposure to specialist areas including judicial review, complex IT disputes, injunctive relief, contentious IP, corporate litigation and professional negligence claims * Working as part of a specialist national team while collaborating closely with the firm's wider litigation practice * Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives The Candidate: * Qualified solicitor with up to 3 years' PQE (NQ-3) * Experience in commercial dispute resolution * Some knowledge of public procurement law or a genuine interest in developing expertise in this area * Familiarity with public law litigation would be advantageous * Strong drafting, legal research and analytical skills * Commercially aware with a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills * Comfortable working directly with clients and managing matters effectively * Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to meet competing deadlines * Collaborative team player with a proactive and professional approach * Enthusiastic about business development and developing a long-term specialism in procurement litigation This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's leading procurement litigation teams, working on complex and high-profile disputes for an impressive client base.
